- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the rolled oats and chocolate chips gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
Cookies can be frozen before baking for up to 3 months. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
