Description
This Blueberry Cream Cheese Frosting adds a burst of flavor and color to any dessert, perfect for all occasions.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2–3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries or 2 tbsp freeze-dried blueberries, powdered
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp milk (optional for consistency)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
- If using fresh blueberries, puree them and fold into the frosting. If using freeze-dried blueberries, add the powdered version directly.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- If the frosting is too thick, add a little milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Use immediately to frost cupcakes, layer cakes, or pancakes.
Notes
This frosting can be made a day in advance. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and stir before using.
