Ingredients

- 6 cups of bread (cubed)
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
- 1/4 cup of butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Add in the cubed bread and stir gently until the bread is well-coated.
- Fold in the raisins if desired.
- Pour the melted butter into a baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
- Spread the bread mixture into the baking dish evenly.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make the mixture a day in advance for added flavor. Gluten-free bread can be used as a substitute.
