Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked broccoli, chopped into small pieces
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Broccoli: Steam or boil the broccoli until tender, then chop it into small pieces. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Form the Cheese Balls: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Form small balls from the mixture and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the Cheese Balls: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve hot, optionally with a dipping sauce.
Notes
You can prepare the broccoli cheese balls ahead of time and store them in the fridge for up to 2 days. Freeze uncooked balls and bake directly from frozen.
