Description

A delicious and creamy syrup that enhances your favorite warm drinks and desserts with a rich, nostalgic flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the brown sugar, water, and sweetened condensed milk into a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk them together until the mixture becomes smooth and homogenous.
  2. As it begins to warm, bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, making sure to whisk frequently.
  3. Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring consistently. You’ll notice a beautiful, golden caramel hue developing.
  4. Once the time is up, remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and kosher salt.
  5. Allow the syrup to cool in the saucepan, whisking occasionally to break up any clumps that may form as it cools.
  6. Finally, transfer the cooled syrup into a glass jar. Your homemade Caramel Brulee Latte Syrup can now be stored in the fridge for up to one month!

Notes
