Description

A warm and cheesy turkey melt on crispy sourdough, perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread
  • Turkey slices
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Cooked turkey bacon strips
  • Butter
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato, avocado

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread until it’s generously coated.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer the turkey slices, followed by the creamy cheddar cheese, and then the crispy turkey bacon.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
  5. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until it’s golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove from the skillet, slice it in half for that delightful presentation, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, customize with jalapeños or fresh veggies.
