- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until it blends with the bananas.
- Mix in the granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
- Add the flour and fold until just incorporated.
- Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
