- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked pasta (optional)
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Combine chicken broth, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a crock pot.
- Add the shredded chicken and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese about 30 minutes before serving.
- If using, add the cooked pasta and heat through for a few more minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Make-ahead magic: Prepare a day in advance and keep cheese and cream separate until serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
