Description
A quick and indulgent feast of tender steak bites cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, served with fresh zucchini.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the zucchini to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat with the garlic butter.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the steak is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, add a splash of lemon juice, mushrooms, or cheese for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
