Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and dry the russet potatoes thoroughly.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully make thin slices across the length of each potato, leaving about 1/4-inch intact at the bottom.
- Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and generously brush them with melted butter.
- Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, getting into the slices.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, until crispy and tender.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
