Description

A refreshing and creamy tropical fruit salad that is perfect for picnics and gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (30 oz) can fruit cocktail in juice
  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (8 oz) can mandarin orange slices
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 (24 oz) container of sour cream
  • 1 box orange flavored gelatin

Instructions

  1. Pour all the canned fruit into a colander over the sink.
  2. Allow the juices to drain thoroughly for about four hours.
  3. Combine the sour cream and orange jello in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the drained fruit and mini marshmallows to the bowl.
  5. Stir to coat every piece in the mixture.
  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  7. Stir the fruit salad just before serving.

Notes

Customize with your favorite fruits or toppings. This salad is best made a day in advance.
