Description

A delicious grilled chicken recipe with a sweet and tangy marinade, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or ideally overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Make the marinade ahead of time and marinate the chicken overnight for maximum flavor.
