- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, if desired. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).
- Add the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper into the crockpot. Stir to combine.
- Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot and gently coat them with the sauce mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks in the crockpot, stirring into the sauce.
- Stir in the sour cream and garnish with cheese and parsley, if desired.
