- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 4 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
- Remove the crispy turkey bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
- Add the sliced onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
- Toss in the chopped cabbage, stirring well to combine with the crispy bacon and sweet onions.
- Cover the skillet and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cabbage becomes beautifully tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, garnished with the crispy turkey bacon.
