Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock or water
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon scallion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs for 6 minutes for a runny yolk or 9 minutes for hard-boiled.
  2. Prepare the sauce by whisking together gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and chicken stock in a bowl.
  3. Heat neutral oil in a skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the gochujang mixture to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half.
  6. Place eggs on a plate and pour the gochujang sauce over them.
  7. Top with scallions and sesame seeds.

Notes
