Description

Delightful bite-sized pastries filled with sweet apples and warm cinnamon, perfect for family gatherings and cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into small squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the square over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
