Description
Enjoy crispy, golden breakfast potatoes that are quick to make and customizable with various toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds baby potatoes (red or yellow)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes: Start by washing the baby potatoes thoroughly. Cut them in half (or quarters if they’re larger) to ensure they cook evenly.
- Season the potatoes: Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over them. Toss until all the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Sauté the potatoes: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned potatoes to the skillet, making sure they are spread out in a single layer. Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they’re golden and crispy.
- Check for doneness: Use a fork to pierce the potatoes—if they’re tender and the outside is crispy, they’re ready to serve.
- Garnish and serve: Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the skillet and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
