Description

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage or turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined and frothy.
  3. Layer the frozen tater tots evenly on the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage or turkey bacon, diced onion, and shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring it covers all ingredients.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

For make-ahead preparation, assemble up to step 5, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bake in the morning for a fresh treat.
