Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
- 1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1/2 cup sweet peas
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the cooked rice, diced mozzarella cheese, diced ham, sweet peas, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Roll each ball in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the rice balls in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot and enjoy with marinara sauce or a herby dip.
