Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Mix the applesauce, vegetable oil, and eggs in another bowl until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, folding in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving warm.
