Description

Delightfully soft and chewy cookies filled with chocolate chunks and crunchy cookie pieces that invoke sweet nostalgia.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats, and set aside.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl, creating a lovely blend of dry ingredients. Set aside.
  3. Beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar on medium speed until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is just combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft cookie dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until evenly dispersed.
  7. Scoop the dough using a small cookie scoop and roll it into a ball. Gently flatten each cookie with your hand.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
