Description

Delightful bars blending creamy goodness with fresh blueberries, perfect for gatherings or cozy afternoons.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press half of this mixture firmly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth in another bowl.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Fold the fresh blueberries into the remaining oat mixture and sprinkle on top.
  7. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the blueberries.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. Freezes well for up to three months.
