Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
- Press half of this mixture firmly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth in another bowl.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Fold the fresh blueberries into the remaining oat mixture and sprinkle on top.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the blueberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. Freezes well for up to three months.
