Ingredients

  • 1 cup Blackberries (fresh, juicy)
  • 10 Fresh mint leaves (fragrant and vibrant)
  • 2 ounces Rum (or a non-alcohol substitute if preferred)
  • 1 ounce Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 ounces Cream of coconut (rich and sweet)
  • Ice (to chill your drink)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar (for that sweet touch)
  • 1 Lime (for the rim)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the sugar-lime rim: Mix lime juice and sugar on a plate. Dip the rim of the glass in lime juice, then in the sugar to coat.
  2. In a shaker, muddle blackberries and mint leaves together, releasing their juices and vibrant aromas.
  3. Add rum, lime juice, and cream of coconut to the shaker along with ice.
  4. Shake well until everything is combined into a creamy elixir.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  6. Garnish with additional blackberries and mint, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Make ahead: Prepare the blackberry and mint mixture in advance and refrigerate it. Just shake it up with the other ingredients when you’re ready to serve!
