Warm, gooey sandwiches made with tender Hawaiian rolls, creamy cheese, and savory ham, topped with a zesty garlic butter glaze.

- 12 soft Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices of ham
- 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the ham and cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on the sandwiches.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm, preferably alongside an Italian chopped salad.
Notes
These sliders can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container for up to three days.
