Description

A comforting bowl of creamy orzo pasta with earthy mushrooms and fresh spinach, all kissed with garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are softened and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Customize the recipe by adding proteins or different vegetables. Store leftovers for up to 3 days.
