Description

Delicious and easy-to-make bagels using Greek yogurt, perfect for cozy mornings or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until a dough forms that’s soft yet manageable.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
  5. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, giving them enough space to rise.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the bagels. Sprinkle with optional toppings.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make ahead of time by preparing the dough in advance and refrigerating. For longer storage, freeze the bagels.
