- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until a dough forms that’s soft yet manageable.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
- Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, giving them enough space to rise.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the bagels. Sprinkle with optional toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make ahead of time by preparing the dough in advance and refrigerating. For longer storage, freeze the bagels.
