- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional add-ins: vegetables (like peas or corn), turkey bacon, or diced onion
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until creamy and smooth.
- Layer the diced ham evenly across the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the soup mixture over the ham, letting it soak in.
- Sprinkle optional add-ins if desired.
- Top with a layer of tater tots, placing them closely together.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
