Ingredients

- 1 can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can of white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of chicken or turkey sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cups of vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté the sausage slices over medium heat until browned and flavorful.
- Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until they are softened and aromatic.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the kidney beans, white beans, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes until warmed through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
