Description

Delicious and easy-to-make chicken tenders drizzled with a sticky hot honey sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: In one bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In a second bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. In a third bowl, add breadcrumbs and set aside.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they’re spaced out to allow even cooking.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through—the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  6. While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in honey and red pepper flakes, allowing the mixture to blend together beautifully.
  7. Once the chicken tenders are out of the oven, drizzle the hot honey sauce generously over them, and feel free to reserve a little for serving.
