Description
Delicious and easy-to-make chicken tenders drizzled with a sticky hot honey sauce, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station: In one bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In a second bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. In a third bowl, add breadcrumbs and set aside.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they’re spaced out to allow even cooking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through—the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
- While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in honey and red pepper flakes, allowing the mixture to blend together beautifully.
- Once the chicken tenders are out of the oven, drizzle the hot honey sauce generously over them, and feel free to reserve a little for serving.
