- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Now, add the shrimp and cook until they’re pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, along with the lemon juice and zest.
- Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Stir all the lovely ingredients together and cook for another minute.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Try adding red pepper flakes for some heat or a splash of cream for richness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
