Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners (powdered) sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Additional confectioners (powdered) sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Start by sifting the confectioners (powdered) sugar into a bowl, removing any lumps.
  2. Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add the brown sugar, salt, and milk to the melted butter and stir.
  5. Set a timer for two minutes once gentle bubbles form.
  6. Continue to boil and stir for exactly two minutes.
  7. Remove from heat immediately and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla.
  8. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until smooth.
  9. Add the sifted powdered sugar gradually, mixing thoroughly.
  10. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  11. Cover the pan and allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
  12. Cut into 1-inch squares once set.
