- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 2 1/2 cups confectioners (powdered) sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Additional confectioners (powdered) sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Start by sifting the confectioners (powdered) sugar into a bowl, removing any lumps.
- Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, salt, and milk to the melted butter and stir.
- Set a timer for two minutes once gentle bubbles form.
- Continue to boil and stir for exactly two minutes.
- Remove from heat immediately and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla.
- Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until smooth.
- Add the sifted powdered sugar gradually, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Cover the pan and allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
- Cut into 1-inch squares once set.
