- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add the egg, food coloring, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes for better shape retention. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
