- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2–3 jalapenos, roasted and diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and diced roasted jalapenos. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread to create a golden, crispy crust.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture.
- Top with the second slice of bread, making sure the buttered side is facing up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown and the cheese is melty, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Once cooked to perfection, slice your sandwich in half and serve warm.
Notes
For a heartier version, consider adding turkey bacon or shredded chicken. Prepare the cheese mixture a day in advance for convenience.
