Description

Delicious and comforting slow cooker shredded chicken tacos, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced green chiles
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Toppings (lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the salsa over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning and add the diced green chiles.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks.
  6. Serve in taco shells or tortillas with your favorite toppings.
