Description

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for the cream cheese glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the cream cheese and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Add in the granulated sugar, then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the creamy mixture.
  5. Stir in the diced strawberries until just mixed.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with a splash of water or milk.
  8. Serve the cookies after glazing and allow them to set for a few moments.
