Description
A perfectly cooked ribeye steak paired with a luscious, bourbon garlic cream sauce, creating a warm and comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup bourbon (or substitute with vegetable broth)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, adjusting cook time for preferred doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the bourbon (or broth) and stir while scraping up browned bits for flavor.
- Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes, then reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Slice the steaks and serve them topped with the bourbon garlic cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
Notes
Let the meat rest after cooking for juiciness. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
