- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush the pretzel sticks into coarse pieces and combine them with melted butter and sugar in a bowl. Press this mixture firmly into a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for about 10 minutes. Allow it to cool completely.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until fully mixed. Add the sliced strawberries into the gelatin and pour this layer over the cream cheese layer.
- Place the entire dish in the refrigerator for at least 180 minutes, allowing it to set before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, prepare a day ahead of time. For variety, feel free to substitute strawberries with your favorite berries or fruits.
