- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 3–4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- Optional: Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 stalks Green Onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Neutral Oil
Instructions
- Finely mince the garlic and chop the green onions. Set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the neutral oil for a minute.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked turkey and stir well, simmering for another 2-3 minutes.
- If desired, sprinkle in red pepper flakes and mix.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve warm over steamed rice or in crisp lettuce wraps.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave.
