Description

Delicious and comforting tuna patties, perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, ensuring all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about the size of your palm.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
  5. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Serve warm, maybe with a sprinkle of fresh herbs or your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy the comforting embrace of good food!

Notes

You can add herbs or spices to customize the patties. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
